ABOUT US
Who Are We?

Noble Custom Coatings is Wilmington, NC's preeminent motorcycle custom paint and cosmetic repair facility. Locally owned and operated by married partners Shane & Stephanie Noble, NCC is an independent, insured, secured, properly permitted, brick and mortar facility in continuous operation since 2013. Yes, we have a paint booth. No, you may not rent it.

What Do We Do?

One off, wheel to wheel customs, oem matching cycle repairs, after market and accessory parts matching, frame painting, wheel painting, and airbrush work. Dent straightening, rash repair, plastics/fiberglass/smc repairs, and minor mods. Once in a while, whimsical stuff: tricycles, tractors, mailboxes.

Why?

Because we share our clients' enthusiasm for bikes. Because our focus on niche products also allows us to deliver correct and superior paint products. Because we prefer lighter touch, heavier detailed work. And because our rider clients appreciate that distinction. Our mission is: "to perform work that makes us proud, at costs fair to ourselves and to owners."

How Do We Go About This?

By our insistence on: Valuing our time and our products. Insisting on necessary labor times. Estimating deliberately. Not rushing work. Performing regular maintenance. Using PPE. Taking personal time. Referring within the industry only to known quantities.

And by our refusal to: Perform work that we cannot warrant. Start projects without signed work orders. Take in projects before we are prepared to start them. Gossip about other facilities, previous staff, or clients. Clearcoat or detail others' sub-par work. Attempt growth without planning.
